This pink rough diamond from South Africa comes in its all-natural octahedron shape, resembling a double pyramid. It has fine crystal lines and triangles at the surface - called “trigons” in the diamond language. It directs our attention to which direction this raw beauty grew in when Mother Nature created it more than 900 million years ago. All these details contribute to the unique character of this raw beauty. The diamond is set in our handcrafted 950 platinum signature ring with a matte brushed surface and facets in the gold. This ring has a raw, delicate, and edgy expression.

Natural pink rough diamonds are among Mother Nature's rarest treasures. They get their color from a distortion in their crystal lattice structure after undergoing greater pressure and heat than other diamonds. The Australian Argyle mine accounted for 90% of all natural pink diamond finds, and since this mine closed at the end of 2020, it is expected that natural pink diamonds will become even rarer, and prices will rise.
